Finally...the house (or at least some of it)...before and after

Here ya go, mom!

Sanding the floors with the orbital sander...

The kitchen floor was horrible...as you will see below...


NOW---sanding with the DRUM SANDER!!!! YEAH!!!! If you have floors that are 2 inches thick like ours, the orbital sander barely does anything...go for the drum sander no matter what the guys at Home Depot tell you. It cut through our floors like butter (cheezy analogy but true!)

Now, here is the before and after of the living room. The living room is the one room that is basically finished and it is our current pride and joy!

I am so very happy/excited for you. Our first house in Maine had beautiful hardwoods under some rather nasty carpet. They were beautiful when finished. Y'all have done an amazing job. Congrats. Can't wait to see it.
