Every year for general conference my family would travel down to our vacation home in Wales, Utah (trust me, the city does exist) to watch conference and every year I would watch my father, brothers, and brother-in-laws kiss their wives before leaving for the priesthood session. On their return from the conference my brothers and father would sit down and talk about the priesthood session and what had been said, usually putting a loving arm around their wife. I always loved to see the change that had taken place in my father and brothers during the two hours they had been gone. Suddenly, they were more aware of their wonderful wives and were more conscious of showing their love for them. The time following the priesthood session was always peaceful and special.
I always wanted to have this feeling with my husband. Tonight when David got home, we sat down and talked about the session and I (being the baby I am) just started crying because I finally got my own time with my own husband! It was just a really nice night and the spirit was so strong in our home. I'm so grateful to be married to such a wonderful man who loves the gospel and our family!

Leda it sounds like you are doing great and I'm so happy for you!
Well now you've got me crying too. I'm so glad that David found such a wonderful wife who treasures such moments. Sure do love you!
You're so cute! We missed you at Wales but were glad you got to have such a sweet moment with your husband! I'm sure there will be many more Wales priesthood sessions moments in the future and hopefully you'll be able to join us!
LEDA!!! So don't even ask me how I managed to find your blog...lots of free time. But I am so glad that I did find you and now I can check up on you and your cute new life!! Sure do miss you and wished that I could have made it to your reception!
Love, Kortney
Leda - so sweet! Gracie wanted to see a picture of you and David. I showed her the one of you at the temple. At first she could only see David. She looked at me and said, "Hey where's Leda?" See she still loves you. Then she petted David's picture and told me, "I love David." Good thing you married him first. She also wants you to know, "Happy Boo!!!" Don't ask...
I cried to know that you had such fond memories of the past.
I cried to know that my little girl´s dreams all came true.
I cried to know that your future will be bright with You, David, and the Lord working together.
Love you!
Mom
P.S.
They were all tears of happiness!
